Julie A. Fleming provides a variety of attorney development coaching and consulting services and packages.

Individual Coaching and Consulting 

Julie works one-on-one with individuals (usually via telephone) to address such topics as business development skills, career management, practice and professional development, and leadership development.  Clients who have worked with Julie have achieved benefits such as:

You have four options, depending on the speed with which you want to move forward, the amount of time you have available, and your budget: One-Day Intensive, Platinum, Gold, and Silver.  Each package requires a six-month commitment, and absent an emergency discussed in advance, time does not roll over from one month to the next.

One-Day Intensive Consultation: If you want to move forward as quickly as possible and if you are committed to implementing the plan we develop during our day together, you are an ideal candidate for the One-Day Intensive.

Spend an entire day with me one-on-one in Atlanta or in your city. I'll consult with you personally on your practice, answering all your rainmaking and client service questions, plus handling any day-to-day practice management obstacles that are retarding your progress. Together, we'll get clear on what will make your practice truly unique, including getting you crystal clear on what will make clients want to continue their work with you and to refer their colleagues to you as well.

I'll help you define your niche so clearly that everyone will understand what you do and what kinds of clients hire you. We'll identify your ideal client profile, get clear on how to reach them, and then develop a proven strategy for marketing your services to them in an authentic, client-centric way so that you can bring in the business without ever feeling pushy, desperate, or obnoxious. We'll draft the written marketing materials you need to highlight your expertise and experience for potential clients. We'll even design a calendar for the next 12 months so you'll know what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. Essentially, I'll take you by the hand and create a lot of your unique business development plan for you. And we'll make sure that what we design works with the rest of your practice and with your personal life, so you're building a practice that you want to maintain.

Together and in person, we'll do in ONE day what would take you 6 to 12 months or more to do on your own. You'll get an objective opinion, my honest feedback and everything you need to make a whole lot more in your practice and of your business...This year!


The 6-month Platinum "All Access" Coaching Package was created in response to client requests and is my most popular package.  It is for those who want to hit the ground running and to make as much progress as possible, as quickly as possible.  As a Platinum Package clients you will maintain ultimate flexibility, because you can schedule your calls in advance or for "just in time" coaching, as your prefer and have full access to every program I create.  This is also the only coaching package that offers unlimited reviews of all of your written materials created for business/professional development, such as articles, presentations, etc.   

Due to the intensive work we do and the availability that I maintain for each client, I can only accept 15 Platinum Package clients at a time.  However, I do maintain a waiting list.  

You'll receive:

  • Two 60-minute calls each month when we'll review your progress, correct course as needed, and troubleshoot any obstacles that may arise.  These calls will typically occur in the first three weeks of each month, leaving you the last week to catch up or rest up. 

  • MP3 recordings of each call so you don't have to take notes and can listen to the calls again (or share the calls, if you choose, with a colleague or other interested party) on an as-needed basis.

  • Unlimited email and telephone support between calls so you can get feedback on opportunities and obstacles right away.  These calls are optional and available for you to use whenever and if ever you'd like.

  • Unlimited review of written materials you produce (for business/professional development or job search purposes; I do not review legal work product).  Whether you're writing articles for business development purposes or polishing your resume and cover letter in preparation for a job change, a second set of eyes can be invaluable.  I'll provide both substantive and stylistic input, on a priority review basis.

  • A free copy of The Reluctant Rainmaker: A Guide for Lawyers Who Hate Selling

  • A free copy of 5 Foundations of Time Mastery for Attorneys

  • Free access to all of the content (articles, audio programs, etc.) that I generate so you can reinforce the work we do in coaching.

  • Free attendance to any teleseminars or public live events that I host.

  • Special bonus: In-person 3-hour consultation in my office, which you can use anytime during the 6 months.  (This is a $1500 value.)  We'll spend the time in whatever way is most helpful for you, whether it's reviewing and revising your game plan, addressing obstacles and challenges that you're experiencing, or diving deep in big-picture questions about your professional life.


The 6-month Gold Coaching  Package is for those who want to work at a more deliberate pace or need additional time between meetings to complete "homework", or if you don't expect 

You'll receive:

  • Two 45-minute calls each month when we'll review your progress, correct course as needed, and troubleshoot any obstacles that may arise.  These calls will be scheduled in advance each month.

  • Email and telephone support between calls so you can get feedback on opportunities and obstacles right away.  You'll have up to three 15-minute phone calls each month and reasonable email access.  This "between meeting" contact is optional and available for you to use as best for you.

  • Limited review of written materials you produce for job search or business development purposes.  Whether you're writing articles for business development purposes or polishing your resume and cover letter in preparation for a job change, a second set of eyes can be invaluable.  I'll provide both substantive and stylistic input, usually within 4 business days.  Review will be limited to a maximum of one hour per month.

The 6-month Silver Coaching Package is designed for those who have completed either the Platinum or Silver Coaching package and want to continue coaching on a maintenance basis.  I will occasionally enroll a new client into this package, but only after we thoroughly discuss your needs and goals so that I can determine the likelihood that you will get the results you want with this program.

You'll receive:

  • Two 30-minute calls each month when we'll review your progress, correct course as needed, and troubleshoot any obstacles that may arise.  These calls will be scheduled in advance each month.

  • Limited email and telephone support between calls so you can get feedback on opportunities and obstacles right away.  You'll have up to three 15-minute phone calls each month and reasonable email access.  This "between meeting" contact is optional and available for you to use as best for you.

Public Presentations and Group Training

DISC Assessment and Analysis

Julie is certified to administer and interpret the DISC Assessment. The DISC Assessment takes only 15 minutes to complete and is useful for developing strong teams, strengthening communications skills, and creating targeted client pitches.  Everyone who completes the assessment receives a multi-page report that provides feedback on how to adapt his or her natural style for optimum professional effectiveness. 

Julie also presents an interactive Dynamic Communication workshop in which participants learn about their own communication styles and those of their colleagues.  This workshop helps to foster clearer and more effective communications to produce better results.
